Taking Guided Action

Taking guided action triggers positive change.  How do we take
action? We Listen. We trust. We take guided action. Dr. Cynthia and
Fairchild discuss in this episode how listening to and trusting in
our guidance are the keys to taking action. This month’s heart tool
and meditation are two great ways to help you connect with your
guidance and open to your heart’s wisdom, which is where your
truth resides. When we are connected to our truth, knowing what
is ours to do in any given situation in our life, we are no longer
limited by our left brain thought or our past experiences or fears.
We know that by acting on our guidance we create change on a deeply
personal level, bringing more self understanding, joy and love into our lives.

Special thank you to HIMEBAUGH for his awe-inspiring song "In The Stars".
Other music "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, "Changes" by David Bowie, "Green Acres" TV Theme.
Produced by HIMEBAUGH.

Heart Patience

Heart patience is being open to what comes when it comes. Practicing
heart patience enables us to settle into the pace of our own hearts knowing
all is happening in Divine Order and Divine Time. Now, part of the challenge
in practicing patience is we feel we have to do so much during the day.
We make our list, whether written or in our heads, we check it off and we
move on. All of this gives us the feeling that we are in control of not only
our time, but our lives. This works until either our list doesn’t get done or
we are thrown a curve ball that knocks us off our list.  When we are
practicing heart patience we are quite literally taking off our blinders to
what needs to happen and when. Thus, our Heart Practice in this episode
is all about Letting Go of The List and allowing the day to come to you.
One of the greatest gifts of being patient is it allows us to be where we
can accept the gifts of the Universe. So today, instead of making that list
of things you need to do, ask yourself ‘what would I like to do today?’ We
hope you say, listen to Wake Up Sunshine! and of course, we hope
you enjoy it.

Special thank you to HIMEBAUGH for his inspiring song "Running Home".

Other music "Patience" by Guns N’ Roses, and “Patience” by Anika Noni Rose,
Eddie Murphy, and Keith Robinson. Produced by HIMEBAUGH

Peace and Nature

Being in nature gives our hearts deep peace. In this episode, Fairchild
and Dr. Cynthia talk about how being in nature, even for a little bit,
can help us feel calm and balanced. Going out into  nature also helps us
get in touch with our creativity, which is where we get our inspiration and
guidance. Thus, our Heart practice this month is a walk in nature to connect
with that peace and creativity. Since many of us spend most of our days
inside, our meditation this month is going to our safe and happy spot and
connecting with peace and nature there. Give yourself 30 minutes and
have a listen and experience how quickly just a moment our two spent
outside taking in the natural surroundings around you can bring you back
to the peace in your heart.

Special thank you to HIMEBAUGH for his mesmerizing song "Over the Moon".
Other music "Soup 1:44" by Dave Stewart, Glen Ballard & Gary Ross and
"Take Me Home Country Roads" and "Thank God I'm a Country Boy"
by John Denver. Produced by HIMEBAUGH

Trusting in Truth

In this episode, Fairchild and Dr Cynthia talk about how trust in your

heart helps you know your truth. The beauty of trust in your heart is knowing

and accepting that you don’t have to figure any part of your life out. When

we let go of trying to ‘figure it out’ and pay attention to the guidance from

our creative right brain, we become more in tune with what we often call our

gut feelings.  Gut feelings are truly the communication of the truth in our hearts.

A good way to know trust in our heart is by understanding and practicing with

our intuition. This month’s heart tool provides fun and interactive ways for us

to practice our intuition and possibly predict winning lottery numbers! Okay,

teasing a little bit here, but who knows?! Go have yourselves a listen and let

us know how it goes.

Special thank you to Andy Holtgrieve for his beautiful song,

Holding on to Love, and to HIMEBAUGH for the amazing

Wake Up Sunshine! theme song. Other music by the awesome

Sliimy and the stunning Crystal Lewis.  Produced by HIMEBAUGH

what resonates with you. Truth is not limiting, it doesn't make you feel bad.

Compassion and Grace

In this episode we discuss the importance of a personal understanding

of spiritual words and concepts that are often repeated but never really

explained.  We explore two of these concepts, compassion and grace.

The spiritual tool we introduce is the heartword -- a word that you keep

in your heartspace and measure your thoughts, feelings, and actions to

help keep you centered in heart living.

Forgiveness From The Heart

In Wake Up Sunshine's third episode, Fairchild and Dr. Cynthia discuss
how forgiveness from the heart is the truest, most beautiful heart
opener of all. They share their own experiences with forgiveness and
give you examples of the difference between forgiveness from the heart
and forgiveness from the head. When it comes from the heart,
forgiveness cleanses the hurts, slights, and indignities that keep you
from being as open as you can be. This month's tools, spiritual
journaling and the forgiveness exercise, will help you get into the
practice of forgiving from the heart. This is a show full of heartfelt
forgiveness you do not want to miss!

Resonating with Beauty via the Right Brain

In Wake Up Sunshine's second episode, Fairchild and Dr. Cynthia
discuss how Beauty and Art helps to open your heart through the
magical feeling of resonance. They talk about their own experiences
with beauty, art and resonance and give you tips on how to connect
with the beauty of your own things. This can help you get out of your
habitual left brain thought and into your right brain creativity which
brings balance and unity within. This month's spiritual tool is about
creating your own beautiful sacred space to help you consciously
connect with your heart. This is a beauty-full show you do
not want to miss!

Self- Love and the Heart Space

Join Dr. Cynthia Zeki and Nicole Fairchild on their inaugural show of

Wake Up Sunshine!  Together they  introduce what it means to live from
your heart so you can live more joyfully and peacefully.  They discuss
how self-love is the foundation of living from  your heart, and give
you three ways to understand yourself and love yourself.  They then
introduce the idea of spiritual tools to help you not only stay in
your self-love, but also feel what is like to be in your heart space.
