Tap Project Water Walk on Sunday, March 22, 2009, a one mile walk for young people (all ages) and their families, schools and communities to help raise awareness and support for children worldwide who suffer from a lack of readily available clean water.
March 22, World Water Day is held to highlight the importance of freshwater and how to manage water sustainably. In 2009, under the theme "Shared Water - Shared Opportunities ", transboundary water is in focus. Managing water across borders could promote trust and understanding, leading to a more peaceful and secure world, enabling sustainable economic growth. Lead agencies for World Water Day 2009 are the United Nations Educational, Scientific and  Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

United Nations Conference on Health and the Environment on April 16th in New York City at the United Nations Headquarters. We will be speaking on the topic of expanding the environmental message to youth through media. Alec Loorz will speak on the youth panel. He will be speaking in front of ambassadors politicians who make decisions that affect the rest of the world. There will also be several schools that will be attending.

It is our vision to unite one and all in a celebration of love and compassion. We honor each May 1st as a symbolic day of unconditional love and call upon all people and all nations to gather together in the wisdom of peace and love.
Global Love Day is the universal recognition of our innate oneness through love.  When  we come from this limitless love we naturally and easily embrace ourselves and our fellow humanity.  Opening our heart, we allow unconditional love to be our guide and compassion to be our gift to life.

Red Velvet Media will be involved with the 31st Annual Harmony Festival to be held June 12-14 2009 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, CA. Building on our four decade-long commitment to green and sustainable business values, Harmony Festival '08 attained a new level of success. Along with all of the great musical performances, we expanded on our unique "progressive county fair" platform, incorporating into our event a diverse variety of "edutainment" -- entertainment & educational programming that promotes the creative arts, sustainable business and healthy living.
As you are all well aware, our country and our planet are going through an amazing period of upheaval and transformation. Although there are many socio-economic challenges on the horizon, it is encouraging to note that many of the proposed solutions to these challenges are shared core principles that Harmony Festival has championed for over 30 years.
In response to these events, we are in the planning stage of what promises to be the most engaging and powerful festival yet.
